On 24th January 2024, against the soundtrack of passing trains at Nundah station, we had our first phone call...and since then we've never been more grateful for free interstate calling.

Fast forward to 10th February, where Arjun flew to Melbourne for our first date which spanned 2 days and started off with a beautiful lunch at MoVida, a spanish tapas restaurant near Melbourne's famed Hosier Lane where we bonded over unknown food, our shared love for Bollywood movies, our passion for dance and our commitment to our families.

As our first day together drew to a close after a fun filled afternoon of laughs, 10-pin bowling (Arjun lost) and a romantic outdoor dinner against the backdrop of Melbourne's skyline.

From meeting Himanshi's parents on our first day to her first trip to Brisbane to meet my family to a meticulously planned surprise proposal, ours has been a whirlwind romance that we had only ever dreamt of.

Since then, not only have we exponentially increased our Virgin Australia Velocity points for travelling between Brisbane and Melbourne every month, we've also created beautiful and everlasting memories with each other and our families.

We are incredibly excited to embark on this new adventure together and cannot wait to celebrate the union of our families with you all.
